This lantern is both oil and kerosene, with an design dating back 150 years!
Perfect for camping, and emergency situations.
Can heat food and water in (specific situations) in minutes, indoors even at low temps, out side take MUCH more time to heat but it will get it done.
(only tested it to 24 degrees Fahrenheit) so BELOW FREEZING.
Emits BRIGHT light with low fuel consumption and easily lights a room and
MORE!!! GREAT FOR GETTING AROUND IN THE DARK NIGHT OUTSIDE!!!
Adjustable flame and wick and you can use other pots with this lantern if you
so choose.
Wide base and stance for stability. Easy to light, give the wick about 5 min when first fueling.
Comes with a 32oz non-stick pot and a carrying bag for the pot.
(handles are attached to the pot)
When pot is not in use (!PUT THE HEAT DIFFUSER TOP BACK ON!)
!!!!IF YOU LOSE THE HEAT DIFFUSER OR NOT USE IT WHILE FLAME IS LIT
YOU WILL HAVE DIRET FLAME HEAT TO YOUR HAND IF YOU TRY AND CARRY THIS LANTERN USING THE HANDLE!!!!
!!!SO DO NOT LOSE HEAT DIFFUSER AND USE IT IF YOU ARE NOT USING THE POT!!!

a good little machine to warm light and feed the family. I remember seeing a setuo from pioneer days where all the heat from an Aladdin lamp was channeled into a wooden barrel oven and it would cook 30 lbs of food in a day . The setup took all day like a modern slow cooker

Very nifty. I was disappointed however when I found out it was made in China and simply marketed by the Amish, while being sold at a made in USA price tag.
