I've been living in Philadelphia for about 15 years now, practically grew up here. I'm 23 now, tired of seeing the same old places and people and not really feeling like I belong anywhere.

Right now I'm planning on moving out to Portland Oregon, somewhere I've never been before where I only know one person there. I hope to have a better start there than I did here, have the social circle I've always yearned for and the overall feeling of independence, which I've yet to fully feel despite having gone on trips by myself in the past.


Honestly this video made me feel a lot more optimistic and I'm glad there's others out there who are as bold and adventurous. Really solid!

Thank you for sharing this beautiful video. Recently I relocated and thankfully I am on my way to becoming the best person that I can be little by little. The fear is replaced with joy as I find my new place to live, new gym to go to, new medical provider, and much more including meaningful connections after I get settled. At first overwhelming but with a great deal of work and persistence I know I am headed in the right direction and where all my goals and dreams realistically will come true. BTW since there is constant business to take care of until it is taken care of I cried tears of joy. I am a private person in some ways but this video was so well done and touched my soul so Thank you once again.

Stayed in India for 23 years straight, during the last 3-4 years, got my heart broken bad, slipped into depression. But then I got an opportunity to move elsewhere, thousands of miles away, where I knew no one else. I was excited. To leave the pain behind, go and find a new and fulfilling life for myself. One and a half years later, I'm here. I got my heart broken again, new girl, new pain, stings even worse. I haven't even explored this place yet. I was so excited to get to know each nook and cranny of this city, and maybe find love, but the heartbreak has destroyed my drive.

But guess what? I just received a great job offer, from another city, another thousand miles apart. I'll be moving there come October. This time, I shall keep my chin up, make some good friends that hopefully turn into family, and pull myself out of misery.

Am I looking at redemption, or am I running away from what I fear? God only knows.

Just wanted to say thank you for this. It was very emotional for me. I'm 26, and I did relocate once from Boston to some small town in Nebraska with a close friend. Been here almost 3 years and no longer friends with that person or anyone acquainted and kept fearing the idea of relocating again while feeling like it may be the only thing.
