In this mother of all competition series, a dozen of the country's most talented kid dancers compete in weekly dance challenges. Twelve kids and their moms will move into a mansion and the kids will perform a new routine each week while the moms manage and oversee them. Will the moms get in the way of their child's success and cost them the chance of winning? Each week, someone is eliminated, narrowing down the field to see who will become the top dancer. The winner will receive a cash prize of $100,000 and a scholarship for full tuition to The Joffrey Ballet School. Dance Mom instructor Abby Lee Miller serves as one of the judges.

"Dance Moms" follows Abby Lee Miller and the nation's favorite tween dancers as they take on Hollywood while new auditions, new competitions, and new studios raise the stakes.

The road has not been easy for “Dance Mom’s” star Abby Lee Miller. After completing her prison sentence last year, the famed dance instructor was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. But if anything, Abby has proven she is a fighter and is not ready to hang up the dance shoes. The new season of Dance Moms follows Abby as she rebuilds her dance company while battling the after-effects of cancer that has left her confined to a wheelchair. Abby is ready to get back to her life and do what she loves most…teaching students to dance! With the goal of putting her life, health and dance studio back together, Abby returns to where it all began – the Abby Lee Dance Company in Pittsburgh.

Kalani's a good sport. She just took the hip hop, did the best that she could, and even comforted Gianna when she was crying because Trinity was freaking out.

I feel so bad for Gianna you could tell she felt picking certain styles for each of the dancers/her friends this really shows that Cindy was the problem not Gianna

Trinity had the right to be mad Bc she saved Gianna over anyone so when Gianna set her up she would obviously be mad

Trinity shouldn't have been freaked out about doing lyrical, They were in a competition for a well-rounded dancer who could tackle all styles, you can't just shy away from what isn't a specialty, you should take it as a challenge to enable you to work on it in a focused manner. I saw nothing wrong with that.

I honestly have to agree with Kira. Cindy choosing for her daughter completely backfired. You would think that Gianna would pick the girl’s solos but Cindy did. Cindy was selfish and she should be thankful that the fights didn’t get physical. All the girls were amazing and performed like professionals. That definitely made the competition a lot harder.

As someone who has only danced hip hop once in my life (I always did jazz and ballet) even I can tell that Kalani was not doing hip hop and most definitely the producers of AUDC choreographed that dance because a lot of the AUDC dances, and Dance Moms dances were very watered down, and some of the choreography didn’t match whatever style they did….Idk who choreographed Kalani’s hip hop solo, but they were definitely told by the producers to do the dances like that.

I haven’t watched this season but I agree with Cindy here, it’s good for Trinity to be expose to more dance styles. Especially if everyone knows she can do hiphop and has already been given hip hop routines. It’s good to be stretched. Trinity may have not been strong in lyrical but she siked herself out and overwhelmed and doubted herself with lyrical. With negative mindsets and saying over and over again you can’t do something, you won’t rise to the occasion.
