Michael Kalaitzakis' Toyota Corolla runs a personal best time on a very easy pass. The car is powered by a Nissan SR20 engine with recent changes including a new Garrett GT4202 turbo and Ford 9in rear end. Other modifications include a Haltech methanol fuel system and Ford C4 transmission.

Looks bad-ass fast but scary to drive.  Such a short wheel base and so much power.  Wicked Toy.  Ruling the bracket.

If I ended up buying a nissan 180sx sometime close to the end of my P plates or after my P
Would the Sr20 engine be good enough for general everyday use plus the occasional thrashing because im a young driver....
Or if I went in for further modifications for power either stay with the SR20 or invest money into a new RB26 or 25, 1Jz or 2JZ and possibly keep it as a drift car.
And besides engine mods I'd make the car look awesome first or I'd prefer it to look better then up the power

but what if your thinking about 10K MAX on the engine alone?
And if i did do a engine swap i wouldn't count that towards my budget. just buying the engine plus the parts.

Put that enigne into a other car.. You cant controle the one you have now..
