Great post and congrats! I’m very encouraged by your story. I’m 64 with metastatic prostate cancer diagnosed in 2021. Localized spread like you, however, Gleason 9. I had radiation and 2 1/2 years of the hormone drug Lupron. I’m feeling a whole lot better right now but I’m still overweight. I gained about 20 pounds. I guess I need to try the intermittent fasting that I’ve heard about and continue my walking. Thanks for posting! I also write and record music… Cheers then!

Me too, very similar. Gleason 9 PSA 185 Metastatic 3 Diagnosed in 2020. No Chemo though just Hormone therapy. I took Aberaterone for 18 months with intermittent fasting, plenty of walking and proper(mostly organic) food. Now full remission too.

That's great! Now quit saying remission and start saying cured. It's been 15 years since I had both AML leukemia and prostate cancer. The word remission sounds like your waiting around for it to come back and the cancer is just giving you a break. People ask me if I'm in remission and I say "No, I'm cured." The spirit of a person controls everything even your health. Of course the doctors and nurses played a huge role as well as the billionaires that donated to hospitals for poor people like me to get treated. I just kept my faith in God and believed I'll die when he gets ready and not before.
