My mother's family is from Italy and we have always celebrated La Bufana, its interesting to know what we've been told and the historic background on the icon. We celebrated Christmas the sane way nost Americans do, then, as mentioned in the video, the day before the the epiphany, we would put out our stocking and the next morning theyd be filled with snall gifts and candy etc. It was awesome because it was like a second mini Christmas and many times we'd get follow-up gifts (like for Christmas I'd get a big GI Joe vehicle ans La Bufana woukd give me an action figure to put in the vehicle. Its wonderful to hear the history. Thanks.
