Tipping the Iceberg in Club Penguin, after 12 years

Basically ever since launch (2005) it was rumored if you had enough people drilling the Iceberg something would happen.
It was pretty much the biggest meme in the game. Nothing ever happened, until today.

It was only possible to tip the iceberg during the last 3 months of the game being online (January 31 – March 30, 2017). It was the final event in the game.

I remember the limited "tour" hats that you could get, I wanted one so badly and when I finally got to get one, they were closed and my 6 year old ass started crying.
then my mother emailed the devs asking them if it was possible to bring it back, and they actually did bring back the chance to get it for 1 day and I was very happy about it.

i love this kind of mystery in any game. it brings the community together for something that may or may not exist, the game devs knew it was a big part of the community and so they actually added it.
