Nice vid! I think you summarized the game very well. I was involved in playtesting, so if anyone's got questions about the game, just shoot them my way!

I was sent back to this review by seeing Tom Vasel just rave about this game in his top 100 list just now. This was an excellent review, as all of yours are.

I put you two among a small group of must-watch reviewers, and that's from watching a LOT of game reviews over the last couple of years as we build our little collection. Not sure why your views spiked on this one and a few others, but people are catching on.

I don't have the game, but am impressed by it since I saw the very first video about it. This is basically a merge between a few very popular games, without many of the annoying parts.

The merge:
1. Pre-game building, keyword ability play and the strategic feeling from Magic: The Gathering.
2. In game building and dependence of card locations from deckbuilders like Legendary (allthough its not exactly the same, of course).
3. Card selection from Mage Wars.
4. The worker building reminds me a bit of the magic building in Summoner Wars.

That is a very interesting mix of game mechanics merged together very well, especially because I'm not depending on the less balanced collectable card game aspects that we find in Magic: The Gathering; in fact, that's the breaking point for me to not play Magic, otherwise I guess I would enjoy it a lot more. If only Magic was an LCG instead of a CCG.
