I wish he'd do a digital version of this like he did with Puzzle Strike. The worst thing about this game is having so few people to play it with. It's such a good game.

Hey Josh. Thank you for putting this detailed video for newcomer codex players. I just received my deluxe edition, and played my first game. I have several questions/clarifications that I was unable to find in your video/the official rule book. Please address the following: 1) Can spells be played the first turn a hero is brought to the field (assuming tech level/gold requirements are met)? 2) While an enemy has a squad leader position filled, do all unit/hero damaging spells have to target that squad leader as well or does apply to only unit/hero attacks? 3) For the +2 level up reward for your hero when an opposing hero is killed, does the hero you want to level up have to kill the opposing leader or can you kill it with any unit/hero/spell and apply the level up to any of your heroes on the field? 4) Do neutral factions count toward the multi-color faction gold penalty? 5) Does surplus change your max hand size to six? 6) If an opponent has tech 1, 2, and 3 does destroying tech level 1 stop the enemy from playing anything above tech 0 due to the tech chain being broken or just the specific tech level destroyed? 7) If a tech building is destroyed on your opponent's turn, while it is rebuilding can you build the next level tech building (assuming worker/gold requirement met) or must you wait till the next turn when re-construction is complete? 8) Does fruit ninja's +1 frenzy bonus stack with the patrol zone elites bonus (+1 attack) giving it +2 additional attack? When a card says "do 2 damage to a building", does that mean that you can choose which building to attack? Like if the opponent has a Tech I and a Tech II building erected, can you elect to attack the Base? Or do you have to attack the highest Tech building which they have active?

Can you have more than 5 cards in your hand during anytime in the game?

For that ironbark fella, does his armor renew every turn? So if he's in the taunt slot, he'd turn into a 1/5 with 2 armor from his ability, and 1 armor from his being squad leader. Say he takes three damage, that would be absorbed by the 3 armor and the next turn you put him back into squad leader position, I know that the 1 armor from the squad position renews, does his other two points REactivate? turning him back into a 1/5?

Wouldn't the Bloodrage Ogre have an extra point of defense at 10:17, preventing it from being killed as a result of receiving 3 damage from the Treant?
