I have just one small question. I understand the method that was shown in the video and I am able to do it. However I'm doing a K2, P1 rib. Increasing one stitch at the beginning and the end of the row on (RS). Can I us the same method for my sweater sleeves and still keep it consistent. Or is there another method to be applied. I'm following the basic structure for a pattern, (Bernard camouflage shaker sweater) but having trouble increasing .

I'm doing 1x1 rib for cardigan border, but my current pattern rows start with purl stitch. Does this the method also work for this, or only 1x1 rib that start with knit stitch?
