Chris' shorts are better than other channel's 15 minute videos.

Chris,
You have inspired me more than I ever knew possible upon first seeing you in 2019: Your courses took everything I knew intuitively and tied it together beautifully, and frankly, you have been much more than a vocal coach to me in the last 2 years.
You have not only helped me transcend **way** beyond my perceived limits of the past with my voice, not only guided me with the kindest most thoughtful of words through the most confusing times of loss, grief, confusion, doubt, fear and deracination; you have helped me realize WHY I sing and to experience the process rather than anticipate the 'result'.
I can do things I never thought possible in my music thanks to the blueprints you have provided, and thanks to your holistically integrative philosophy, I am now able to laugh at myself as well, and share my success and flaws with others, because I realize it's not ABOUT perfect pitch or other 'check-the-box' stuff, but experiencing, and sharing, where those other things follow as byproduct of dedication.
Lots of things on my plate at the moment, but here you are, providing inspiration as always, and I wanna just thank you for that; you are facilitating change in the creative lives of so many individuals, and that is making this world a better place :)
Best Regards!

Oh that's why sometimes my highnotes sound better when I feel them vibrate in front of my face, not down my throat
Most of the time I just mix so I don't really care if it sounds powerful

Impossible to gauge with these song choices. People love high notes and while both Cynthia and Rachel can certainly hit them beautifully, Defying Gravity is basically a belter’s wet dream while Waiting on a Wish is a mix of powerful and light sections that lands in the middle.

You should check out Finnish metal singer Marco Hietala of bands like Nightwish and Tarot and make a ”how to sing like him” video. World class voice and technique on that guy

Oh wow I was way off about what belting was, Now I must apologize to my kids school teacher😂jk.

Great stuff Chris! I'm really looking forward to the 1 on 1 lessons with ya! Starlink sent me an email yesterday informing me to expect my "Dishy" to arrive within the next 6- 8 weeks(actual real internet)!
Technology in the farm life, in the middle of nowhere is an absolute struggle lol. ...so stoked!

Lol I heard literally no difference between the two examples (the belt and non-belt sound) :)
But awesome tip thank you! Gonna push them forward, but there are some vowels that are very hard to push forward. Do you have a tip for them?
Thank you!

I thought most vocal teachers say you should always direct the sound to vibrate towards the front of your face?

so it's an average Susumu Hirasawa performance

(or the Lion King for probably the most popular example)
