Thank you for the video I liked it. I struggle with narcissistic people only because I don't understand that way of thinking. Seems to me these people are pretty keen on people's emotional state know how to push all the buttons. They say things purposely to do emotional harm. It seems like the whole world is that way. Most the time I prefer just not to interact. One of the toughest things I experienced in my life was falling in love with someone. To love someone is to see the face of God. If it hadn't been for the three-legged stool I was sitting on a job, a home and children having that foundation in place save my life. Otherwise I don't think I would've made it. That was October 23, 1983 It took me 8 years of just putting 1 foot in front of the other to get to a point where I could start to function. Just because you fall in love with someone doesn't necessarily mean that person's for you. I was already in love with Jesus Christ. I asked him in prayer. Is this person for me. I already knew the answer. I just didn't know how to handle the situation. it was the first time I belonged to an organization known as the church. 5 years had been there was a board member showed up every Sunday and during the week. The kids liked it and so did I. Unfortunately, the person I fell in love with with was the pastor's daughter. To make this story short, they had brought my ex-wife to church from somewhere how they got in contact with her is beyond me. Hadn't seen her in 3 and half years. The pastor from the pulpit started screaming. He who causes his wife to divorce him. It's as if he himself divorce her. Therefore he must be reunited with her or be living in sin for the rest of his life then points at me. The whole church is dead quiet, as if they already knew the plan. That was the last time I ever went to that church then became a walking dead man for 8 years. That's when I entered a closed men's group at the Northwest Center of adult children of alcoholic. I was there for 3 and half years not a in inpatient a outpatient I came in once a week I should have stayed 5 years minimum but the insurance quit paying and I was kind of singled out at work for using medical insurance to cover the cost. Letting me know in a narcissistic way, not directly. Some of you are using too much medical insurance in front of the group. Of course I have sensitive ears for that kind of stuff so I quit. That was an interesting time. It was the first time I had a dream seeing a crack in the wall and there was light coming out. It was a doorway to a happier place emotionally. But my work had just begun understanding what happened growing up. The facilitator was very interesting person. He explained how he entered into mental health. He was a nurse in Vietnam. He said he carried a guy out of the jungle for a mile. The last thing that guy said to him, I give you permission to live and died in his arms. Then he turns and looks at me I've seen guys like you before they come out of the jungle they had seen too much violence. I can see in your eyes.
