And also by not actively invalidating children and deliberately witholding recognition or praise when its earned and deserved by minimizing their work and accomplishments.

Praise is still needed but make sure it is given from external sources so it is believed. I know plenty competent contractor that can build a house and everything in it but they also have low self-esteem.
Long story short, praise and teach financial competence/ to stand on one's own two feet.
The rest is not really in your control later in life anyway . 😅

That is partially true partially false very attractive people have years upon years of positive feedback which piles up overtime and makes them confident even when they dont have much skills outside social activities I have seen it beforehand its still true competence in a skill gives you confidence but its usually due to peoples positive feedback my point being that positive feedback builds confidence over time whether its in your looks or skills or whatever else
