For me, the best one for early game is grub armor for exploration then red ant armor for faster base building and the best part of this armor is, if you go explore near red anthill there's stinkbug, bombardier, orbweaver and ladybug spot, so you can just kite them to anthill then let them kill each other for easy bug part for insect axe, insect hammer, red ant club and ladybug armor.

Good video. However, every badge has a benefit and a drawback. While the toxicology badge provides 90% resistance to gas and dust. it increases damage taken by poison. So you definitely want to take off your toxicology badge before you fight spiders. If you look real close at the badge thats a minus "-" sign before poison indicating a negative benefit.

Quick clarification on the stamina usage of armor. The 5%, 15%, and 25% stamina usage increase of the armor classes stack per item piece. So a full set of light, medium, and heavy armor will increase you stamina usage by 15%, 45%, and 75% respectively. You can also mix and match the pieces for different combinations of stamina usage.

This is similar to the damage resistance provided by the classes. Full sets of light, medium, and heavy will reduce post-block damage by 10%, 20%, and 30% respectively, but that’s after combining the DR of each piece. Half that resistance is from the chest piece, and the other half is split between feet and head pieces. So a light chest has 5% DR, but light feet and head each provide 2.5% DR for a combined 10% with all pieces. And like the stamina usage you can mix and match pieces across the classes to get different DR values.

An example: wearing light feet, heavy chest, and medium head will give you the same stamina usage and damage resistance as a full set of medium armor.

Apparently Lady Bugs can be early game fodder too if you're careful. Just take a shield and whatever one-handed weapon you have and when you start the fight you hold up your shield till the lady bug attacks and then you hit back with a three hit combo, raise up your shield again for the next attack, rinse, and repeat. Apparently the lady bugs don't have a combo attack and even if you recoil from shielding attacks the lady bug stalls long enough for you to raise your shield back up for the next strike. Patients and not being greedy are the name of this particular waiting game and rewards you with some of the best mid game armor early in the run, just make sure you fight them one at a time.

Compliance Badge lowers your resistance, thus making you receive MORE damage

Also instead of killing a stink bug break the web sacks and you can get bombardier, stink bug, ladybug, gnat fuzz and web fiber out of them also watch out little baby spiders spawn in and after that you can make the gas mask and fight head to head stick bugs and kill them and learn how to block

WoW didn't realise how much damage the BD does, I started again because of the latest patch no mozzies until the first chip is in.
I'll get all that, great video 👍
Thanks 🥔

Acorn->Ladybug lvl5 -> Bulky Roly Poly lvl9, you will be almost indestructible in Medium difficulty from start to finish of the game, i dont notice the 25% more stamina usage at all because perfect block will fill your stamina bar almost to full, so this is the Safe bet. I personally prefer the spider set.

Don't you need the black ant shovel to get the bones and scales

Koi armor is ass, all new players just play the game make sure you use a shield and make sure you peep bugs and look in data for the bugs weaknesses and use those type of weapons, me personally I get lady bug armor way before then I get koi armor also you can make spiders attack ladybugs so you can probably can kill the ladybug better with lower health and get free spider parts and web fiber
