isn't that typical, Brian.... These companies send you down a pathway that is an endless circle, you absolutely did all the steps that we all have been trained to do in this situation... And in the end you did not need it. Somewhere, one of the companies needs to notify a person that this power plan feature isn't available for certain processors. I don't know if Microsoft needs to add a notation to the power plan page, or something being added to the AMD download page. Here again there's going to be a lot of wasted time chasing down a resolution of a problem that isn't technically a problem. I hope people who run AMD processors get to see this video. I won't even mention the funky things over the years that people with AMD processors have to deal with.

If you now the settings then you can create your own power plan and call i Ryzen.

Even updated the drivers through amoury crate

Thought I was going mad

Hi Brian, I can't reinstall RTZEN MASTER. I screwed up and deleted the file. I used your recomended program to delete reminents of deleted programs. No matter what I do it won't install for.mt 5600x. Any thoughts. Win 11 64. Thx

yea, do it the "microsoft way" or the highway.. same with nvidia drivers, can only download the drivers from the official MS store. Even if you ask MS they refuse to give you a link to the drivers.

ok, its only the drivers but i only want the drivers. I dont want the other 50 000 junk files i get when i download from the MS store. It delay my work and in many cases it require a reboot before the computer even start and download and install the drivers.. A big time waster.
Windows download updates in snail speeds, takes years to get updates since they only use 10% of the total internet speed in that location. No way to make it download in 100% of the internet speed.

Im going to hack the drivers out from the MS store one day when i have the energy and save them in 10 000 safe locations so i wont loose them again. Its a link in MS store and its not so hard to get that exact link if you look behind the curtains..

Balanced is recommend but I use high performance for my 5000 cpu.

I found Gigabyte drivers to be older so I download them from the source.

I just create my own power plan and occasionally check back in the event that a Win Update inadvertently makes any
changes behind my back, since I've have suspected that of happening a time or two. I also make damned sure that
all of my drivers are thoroughly backed up and in addition to that, plus subsequent system backups are made too!!

What I did was to change power plan by adding the Ultimate power plan that had been missing from Windows 11 power plans. That works great for my Ryzen 5000 series CPU.

Anyone know of any encryption software that will password encrypt a flash drive, scramble its file/folder names (not really needed) and will do so with using any partitions or volumes? Since Veracrypt was a L and can still be broken into per YouTube videos?
