What you said is exactly what happened to me. After getting a live account I began to gamble in order to get that first payout and blew the maximum daily drawdown. It took me a month to qualify and 48 hrs to earn myself a hard breach.

great advice mate, I started the challenge 3 weeks and 2 days ago and I'm up 4, 2% with 0, 5% risk on my trades did 15 trades in almost week days, with a hit ratio of 72, 6%

And I have noticed myself the week I trade a lot end up having red week. but when I trade less I make at least 4 percent of the account size in that week.

I’m not with a prop firm, but a training organisation, that once we grow our own accounts by 3% per month for 3 consecutive months, we qualify for our company trading account. Mine will be $100K, but I will be asking to have it scaled in, starting at $10K, then $30K, then $75K, then $100K…as I’ve also seen, a lot of people pass prop firm challenges, but that psychological hurdle of trading say $5k one day, then $200K the next, can cause a lot of people to mess up.

This is exactly what I did. Got 2 funded accounts with 2 different prop firms and blew them both. I wanted to go fast, and get immediate cashflow, and basically stopped doing the things that got me the funded accounts. This is a real deal. Now, back to square one, essentially.

great video! after being a funded trader, getting payouts, losing it, getting refunded again. 😂 it’s a psychological game that you have to control your greed to rush n get a huge payout. recommend to trade smaller lot sizes/less risk per trade for the funded account vs challenge account
