🎁 Favorite take away. Do not take months just to pass an account. Im form Africa and getting the money to purchase an account is hard to come by in a third world country. That is why I follow the conservative route. And I can only afford 5k accounts. Its crippling and stagnating.. Thanks Kimmel for all your videos. I never miss any one. I was risking .5% a trade and only trading 0-1 times a week.
I realized recently how it would take me forever to pass a challenge. Great to hear you say what I was already thinking, it's better to pass quickly and get a pay out. So now I risk 2% fully accepting I could lose a challenge but knowing I'll also be much more likely to secure a payout, and quicker.

My favorite takeaway is to adapt your riskmanagement % specifically for the propfirm challenge and be ok with it . A standout point was that if your risk % is too low it can take forever or never to become funded .🎁

The biggest tip I've received is the backtesting parameters you mentioned for data gathering, backtesting 2 yrs data with over 100 trades before going live with a strategy will give the confidence I need. 🎁

Risk 0.25% until you have a 2% buffer then raise to 0.5% when you have 4% buffer then trade 1% you’ll never fail a challenge unless you fail 40 trades in a row 😅🚬🔥
