The last tip "Compound", was amazing as i have figure it out from the profitable traders. "Compound only your personal accounts, not prop accounts". As you might loose the challenge but cannot loose your own account.

This is a man who got burnt by prop firms, had ups and downs in his trading career, giving genuine advise to people,
if you're new trader and don't take notes or not taking this video seriously, you will come back here after breaching multiple accounts and having existential crisis thinking you are wasting time or you don't know what you're doing in life anymore (trading and especially prop firms WILL put you in this position, trust me)

TBH I never realized that Kimmel was the first person that I came across years ago talking about milking prop firms as much as possible and got me into trading for serious, but everyone else at that time were talking shit about prop firms

What a great point brother! I started my first prop firm ever, passed both challenges and onto the live account, I got 300 usd profit that I can withdraw, never withdraw it because I am thinking I want to reach 1k first, next day went to drawdown, then after that breached the account.

Lesson learned!

at what profit target should you cash out your profits? a fixed amount? percentage?

So are we better off trading a personal account with a 500:1 leverage? Isn't that the same thing as signing up to a prop firm?

be (slightly) more agressive on challenges and be conservative when you are qualified. I have a backtested strategy that works and still lost a challenge because its 80% psychology and 20% strategy. The thing is have your own protocols and trade like a robot no matter how are you feeling

So you are saying you should not keep a cushion in the account which would result in more blown accounts. How do you keep trading without a cushion?
