Animal Planet's Heather King Files for Divorce from Husband Wayde Days After Her Domestic Violence A

Tanked star Heather King has reportedly filed for divorce from her husband Wayde King.  Days after she was reportedly arrested for domestic violence, Heather filed for divorce from Wayde on Friday in Clark County, Nevada, TMZ reports. Follow Following You'll get the latest updates on this topic in your browser notifications.  The reality star — she shares daughters Taylor and Morgan with Wayde — has requested primary custody of their children, but is willing to share joint legal custody, according to the outlet.  Heather has reportedly requested monthly child support, which she believes should be equal to a quarter of Wayde’s gross monthly income; temporary spousal support; and that Wayde provide health insurance for their daughters until they graduate high school. When she filed, she asked the court for a joint preliminary injunction, according to TMZ.  Additionally, she is hoping to keep her married name when the divorce is finalized, the outlet reports.  Animal Planet had no comment. A rep for the couple’s business, Acrylic Tank Manufacturing, did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.  On Wednesday, Heather was arrested in Las Vegas after police officers were called to the couple’s home, TMZ reported. The Animal Planet personality was later booked for misdemeanor domestic violence and released the same day.  Heather’s arrest came after she reportedly got into an argument with Wayde, who she allegedly slapped in the face and kicked in the stomach twice.  When authorities responded to their home, they noticed redness on a side of Wayde’s stomach, the outlet reports. He also reportedly told officers that he was hanging out of the window of Heather’s car as she drove away.  While Heather admitted to slapping Wayde, TMZ reported, she denied dragging Wayde in the vehicle.  PEOPLE is out to Las Vegas Police. Animal Planet and Acrylic Tank Manufacturing did not respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment at the time.  Together, Heather and Wayde star on the Animal Planet series, which premiered in 2011 and follows Wayde and Brett Raymer — the co-owners of Acrylic Tank Manufacturing (ATM). ATM makes custom-made aquariums for clients across the country, including numerous celebrities. Heather works as the company’s accountant.  Days after the new year, Heather and Wayde celebrated their love with a sunset dinner.  “Wayde surprised me with a romantic sunset dinner on the beach,” she captioned a smiling photo of the couple. “#love #sunset #beach #romantic.”  In her Instagram biography, Heather states, “I live for my daughters. I read a couple few comments from other people we need to look at the evidence and what the truth is. Between the TV show tank between the husband and the wife. For my understanding his wife was arrested for domestic violence upon her husband. The TV show was very popular and got a lot of reviews. But just maybe that the TV show will come back on air maybe not on animal planet but some other channel network. But we need to remember just because what happened between these two it shouldn't cancel the TV show on animal planet. Animal planet should give people a second chance and forgiveness. Because forgiveness can go a long way. One of Jesus prophet says to Jesus how many times should I forgive my fellow man and Jesus says 70 ×7 forgive your brother and sister.
