Auto save. Every Friday. Invest bi monthly bout half my paycheck. Live way below my means. House hack. Just consume information rather than things. Be grateful. Stay busy with work school and information. Keep going towards goals.

I've told friends to make daily list of all spending for a few weeks..separate items by needs vs want...kill most wants an improve on needs..like fix meals at home...we build one brick at a time.

When I go to the grocery store I only buy things with coupons, on sale, or on clearance. I then make my meals based on what I purchased. I'm vegetarian and eat mostly organic and have saved much money shopping this way. Also, the grocery store has a savings plan with a gas station to save on gas. It's a win win.

Learning how to have a healthy diet at the lowest cost goes a long way. Buying fruit in bulk, buying frozen veggies and reduced meats. Also, switching to store brand detergents, laundry powder, soaps etc. They do the exact same thing as named brands. Unless you wanna be a body builder (or are losing a lot of weight) working out from home or in parks, screw the gym member ship. Good points and presentation Gabe. Another way to save is to learn some carpentry skills so that you can work with one professional carpenter and use some project management common sense to build your own small home. I did that when I was 37 and I paid off the small mortgage quickly which helped me retire early.
