the real problem everyone has is that THE PHONE NUMBERS DO NOT IMPORT TO GOOGLE CONTACTS and its hell to try and find a video that explains this in english. Torture

There’s a few videos online with people doing this, but have you had success with upload a customer list with lots more fields of data for each customer. .
For example, street address, suburb, mobile phone number, 2nd phone number etc.

First two columns names imported but emails did not, are we sure emails go in column C?

what if I have a column with both first and last name? can it be imported with 2 columns? or does it have to be 3. if it's 3, i'll just make a column with last name and put 'A' all the way down.

your video was very methodical and I could successfully follow the steps. But I wanted to import also the phone numbers. I put in a "phone number" column. The other three columns: first name, last name, email did import. However the phone number column didn't. Is it because I use parenthesis and hyphen (xxx) xxx-xxxx?

I followed these instructions but added a couple of extra columns for home telephone and mobile. It did import but put the first and last names in the notes and didn't populate the actual first and last name fields? Love to know why and where I went wrong.

From looking at your video and reading the comments, I am wondering is it possible to create your own column headings or do you have to strictly follow the headings in Google Contacts? Thanks,

Why when we put numbers they get abbreviated with +? It messes the recognition to google contacts.
