If you watch Cas from clutterbug you know about the different clutterbug styles and you seem to be a cricket like me. Most of the other you tube organizers I watch are ladybugs and butterflies so I’m so happy to watch some one who organizes more like me. You totally get me lol. Keep making videos! I love how you talk through how you decide what to keep. And your thought process. I like how you talk about cleaning and organizing as you go also. That’s a cricket thing! This is how I work too or I don’t feel like the jobs done.

I’ve been trying something new— every time I open a cabinet or
drawer I do a very quick scan and ask “Is there anything I can get rid of out of here?” For less used drawers ( like the tiny ones in my living room end tables) I have merely completely emptied them so I don’t have to remember what’s in there. Always good info on your videos. Thanks! ❤

Haha I just used a single sock as a dusting mitt today! Having something to collect unwanted clothing in or near your closet is a great tip. I'm in the habit of using a trash bag because all of our boxes tend to collect other types of donations like household goods.

All great suggestions! I am a reformed hoarder. I used to have a packed house and five storage units. It took a catastrophic illness and a natural disaster to shift my mindset. Now I love being minimal. I look for things daily to declutter, I find so much joy in neat, clean, fresh spaces.

Today my husband and I took the very FIRST step towards decluttering our basement. Mind you the goal is AN EMPTY BASEMENT, since it's water infested from when the rain fills up the underground water levels. There's a LONG way to go.
