The s-pen is so good when it comes to editing your pictures and videos and also signing documents when needed.

I went from the iPhone 14 Pro to the Samsung S23 Ultra last year and I love it. I’ve had an iPhone since the 4. Change is good.

I changed this year from iPhone 13 Pro to S24 Ultra, loving it, haven't really missed much, and loving the device, Android is so useful or can be simple like iOS too. Been an iPhone user since 4s, not sure if I will ever go back at this point.

S-pen is great for photo editing. It gives you a way to be really precise when selecting objects to edit, erase, move or mask.

As someone who has a Samsung phone and an iPad and a Mac (since 2020), I simply don’t understand all this brand competition that marketing has taught people that it’s one brand of device or the other. I couldn’t give a Flying F if you’re Apple one minute, Android this minute, next generation Samsung Fold in July, possibly next generation Pixel, and then iPhone16 in October… you’re a tech reviewer, after all. But many commentators seem to have their knickers in a twist over the thought😆. But I do appreciate your efforts to give it a really good go. Because most Apple fan-boys who review Android phones are laughably absurd because unless you spend at least 3 months to work out an Android phone properly without having an iPhone on standby in your back pocket if you’re balls deep in the Apple ecosystem, you’re not giving yourself the chance to work out all the things and new ideas (end of rant😆).

The reality is, you can still stay in the Apple ecosystem when you get a Samsung phone. I wasted a lot of time thinking I had to leave everything Apple when I had Multiplatform devices, and I wasted a lot of time experimenting with third party apps… but at the end of the day, keep your favourite Apple apps, and it’s all about Syncing.

Simply back up your Samsung photos and Files to Google Drive, and on your Apple devices download Google 1 to sync iOS photos to Google photos as well as Apple calendar to Google calendar - and adding Google drive to your Apple devices. The hardest thing for me when I left iOS for Samsung a few years ago, while still having an iPad and Mac, was trying to find things to replace Apple apps that I was used to, and loved! I eventually realised that I didn’t have to. I’m still in the Apple ecosystem, but I’m also in the Google ecosystem and the Microsoft ecosystem and a lot of third parties. Syncing iOS photos to Google photos, and syncing iOS calendar to Google calendar was a game changer. I eventually, over time, moved to other apps. It takes time to forget how we used to do things, and to learn new ways that work and link devices together. I still use iCloud, plus Google Drive, and simple drag and drop files between each other on my Mac. Downloads on my Samsung phone are backed up to Google Drive, meaning I can access them on my Mac and my iPad. Same with photos and video. Your iPad is key here. Bring up a photo or video via Google photos (that you’ve taken on Android phone, that Samsung photos has backed up to Google Photos) on your iPad, and then “save to device”. It is now in iOS photos. You can now access via Apple photos on your Mac. Likewise, your entire iOS photo and video history is now accessible on Google photos on the Samsung phone.

Even if I went back to iPhone with the new generation in October, I’ll still continue syncing so that I can continue to have the freedom to change devices in the future. Good luck with your experimenting, I’ll still be here for your next one😊

Switched to S24 U, sold my IPhone 15 Pro Max and my Apple Watch Ultra. Not missing them one bit.

Video is super crispy, S-pen is for granular tasks, notes, editing, photo capture, of course drawing/ sketching. It's there for convenience not for everyday usage unless you become addicted to it like I am with my tab, I actually use the tab pen on both devices more so.

Just ordered my s24 Ultra yesterday + Watch 6 Classic. Coming from iPhone 15 Pro + Watch Ultra. Not confident about it yet, have tried to switch before and couldn't - so we'll see how it goes. Love your videos Mark!

Here’s a thought. Do a video of you resetting your iPhone and Apple Watch Ultra and actually selling it to someone and shipping it off. Try not to buy it again for 3 months. That would be way more impressive than just putting your SIM card in the Galaxy

Spen user here. I use it for art constantly. Rendering shirts, Logos, stickers, video, social media posts, video editing etc... for final print for business. Several apps help to finalize for printing and rendering. It is a massive time and paper saver. Also for 3D sculpting in Nomad. Those are some main functions that really help and motivate the creative processes for me. I totally understand the gimmick aspect if not using for such things. Photo taking, swipe gestures are not exciting. Great video and looking forward to your next video. 2 cents thrown. Cheers.

I have a hybrid setup with S24 Ul and MacBook (personal) and Windows machine (work). I ended up installing an app called ARC. It works pretty good between all my devices including my iPad. Thank you for the video. You do a great job. Cheers from Kentucky!

Spen is an excellent tool for translating words or entire sentences in a text. All you have to do is hold him to his word. This is a great tool for people learning a foreign language.

I tried it as well. I struggled with the call quality on S24 ultra. Even the galaxy buds didn’t have the good call quality. I tried the Bose ultra earbuds too. I take a lot of work calls while I walk.

Have you found your perfect earbuds match with S24 ultra? Something that gives you a voice isolation like feature that comes along with iPhone and AirPods Pro paired up.
Please let me know, will love your inputs around it.

Hey Mark, I was wondering, what would you say is the best small phone one could buy with the best cameras that you can get with that size. I like the Samsung s24 but it’s a little bit big
