How does God’s judgment work? Almost every culture calls for a judgment at the end of our lives. What do ultimate judgments say about God?

intelligence in human beings has allowed for the story and rationalisation of everything and anything without an anchor of accuracy or truth.

Heaven and hell could be considered our emotional state of mind while experiencing different emotions while we are here, from blissfulness, ecstasy, joy and peacefulness to the opposite end of the spectrum like fear being overwhelmed with grief, shame, confusion, addiction, loss or other can give the feeling of a living hell.
I pray for anyone who at the moment maybe experiencing the latter, if anyone is reading this who may be experiencing the latter and you battle that storm they will be your biggest teachers.💙✨

I am an infinitely loving God. Choose me or else...

I dont believe in an external judgement, i find it silly (even as a Catholic). Inner judgement is the harsh punishment one can have.

The only thing that comes close to resembling any kind of "hell" is the insanity taking place in this temporary world we are presently inhabiting (emphasis on the word "temporary"). It is time for a new spiritual paradigm to replace the old mythological nonsense handed down to us from ancient minds.

Amazingly stupid response to a perfectly valid question.
Another point that Robert must consider. Suppose you like cheese. In heaven you will eat it without any bad effect. You will eat for 10 years, 20 years, ..., 10, 000 years, one billion years... Eventually would you not get sick of it? Would you not scream at the sight of cheese? This will hold true for every pleasing experience. The Abrahamic religions concieve of heaven to be the collection of all the experiences which are pleasing in our earthly life. So don't you see that eternal heaven is actually eternal hell.

Let God/gods explain themselves. And stop speaking for them.

Divine love? Another contradiction when viewed along side human history. Divine justice? Even more contradictory.

From studying the New testament for many years, there is a strongly implied message of fatalism. There is a "book of life" that contains the names of the chosen. Those who are not chosen, appear to be on the side of the evil one, there hell will be in realizing this, in a day of judgement. They will be cast into the lake of fire and blotted out of time. Why is it designed this way, is not made plain.

God loves you so much, that he created hell in case you don't love him back. But, seriously, if hell can be escaped, what Christian would accept going to heaven when they could go to hell and help those there so they can escape?

Eternity is a reference frame. Someone inside a blackhole vs outside it. For one a few hours will be an eternity for the other.

How do you people know that any oh this is true? This sounds like babble. If God moves in mysterious ways, then how do you know what he’s up to?

i'll put forward that because God already saw our entire life before it unfolds, there's no judgement only the outcome of our will and we eventually will reflect on that ...because for God our consequence is already there ...He will have a judgement but in terms of punishment it's already all there in our lives...reconciliation comes from each one of us to each one of us because God is Love and His Love in within each of us

Nobody "chooses" to be tortured for eternity... And what sort of "good" God created a torture chamber for people he doesn't like?!?

You guys are talking about purgation where the individual (if he or she choses) can find atonement.

I feel like you can disprove an afterlife simply by asking yourself, "am I alive right now?" The obvious answer for all of us, barring theoretical concerns like the multiverse or what have you, is "Yes."
So that means if I'm alive now, I'm not an eternal being, since an eternity in Heaven doesn't just "start..." That's the nature of eternity. No beginning, no end, thus, if we are living mortal lives now, we can not be eternal.

Why the heck would anyone WANT to be in hell?

I'm not certain this video gets us any Closer To Truth, but it sure is funny.

This video clip doesn't begin to scratch the surface of a more thorough examination of what the bible actually says about hell. Mr. Buckareff harps on the point that God is love. But he can't reconcile that fact with the need for perfect justice. And so he invents a hell that fits his shallow interpretation of scriptures. But it's understandable that his doctrine must conform to mainstream ideas. Making the discussion too technical would would alienate too many believing folks. I find it a challenge to listen to such drivel.
