In the end, they were just "two clueless kids sent to that island" who were scared and just wanted to get back home. I cannot wait for the anime adaptation of Reiner's backstory and seeing the other side of the fall of Wall María. He truly is the Marley mirror image from Eren

This anime does such a great job at showing you that you're always the good guys in your story, but to another's story, you're the demon. Everyone thinks they're the good guys, but are they really? Is everything really that black and white? No, it's not. It's such a good lesson to learn, as it relates to real life situations as well, such as WW1 among other examples. Such a compelling story with such an important life lesson as well. I've never seen an anime that captures this as well as this one. Attack on Titan will always, always, always have a place in my heart.

What I like on Aot is how the characters have two sides and rarely goes one directional. Even the hero become a great anti-hero

To understand Reiner & Bertholdt more, think of them as the two pilots who dropped the atomic bombs on Hiroshima & Nagasaki. Japanese people probably think of them as cold-hearted monsters while Americans look at them as heroes. In reality, they were just two people who's duty as soldiers was to annihilate two innocent towns. They couldn't refuse

It is simply undeniable that AoT has the best, most exceptional, epic soundtrack ever. Sawano is truly not from this planet, god bless him for his AoT masterpiece work.
