I actually just read the study this morning because my brother is a conspiracy theorist. The study does not include the large cylindrical tunnels and basically sums up to "we used this technology to confirm what others postulated in 1978 in an uninvasive method of archaeology" and gave a decent guess of what the chambers were used for: their guess is flooding rituals since the Nile used to be much closer

A few things to note about the "study":
1. The scans didn't detect the caves that run underneath Giza. Like, at all.
2. The ground penetrating radar used for the scan isn't accurate for more than 3 meters into desert soil.
3. The position of the "void" directly clashes with the location of an underground chamber of the pyramid that was carved directly into the solid layer of bedrock that the pyramid is constructed on top of.

“Non-peer-reviewed paper” is just another term for “a pdf some guy made”. The value of papers comes from publications’ strict peer-review standards — when those don’t exist, anyone can write anything they want and call it a “paper”
