Huge Structures Discovered Under Pyramids?

On March 15, a group of researchers revealed some crazy news: using a new type of radar imaging technology, they claimed to have discovered new “internal artificial structures” beneath Egypt's three Great Pyramids in Giza. The structures supposedly included eight cylinders surrounded by constructs resembling spiral staircases. Does their radar imaging tech actually work? And if so, are those "structures" real? Let's find out.

Correction: The arrow at 4:11 points at the wrong place, it was supposed to point at the "signal" underneath the actual chamber. Sorry about that.

A 'true' sanity check of the method is to do a survey over areas that already have the ground beneath them mapped out - like areas with cave networks that have already been explored. Pretty sure there's lots of places on this planet in which the 'new method' could be tested and compared.

Ever wondered why the Pyramids are still in Egypt?
It's because they are too heavy for the British to carry!

It’s widely accepted in ‘the fun skeptic’ circles that papers published on the pyramids, and the press they gather, reveal more about what’s happening in the Egyptian government than under the ground.

What I find shocking is just how quickly and thoroughly this 'news story' saturated the media. Virtually overnight, this story was published by almost all major media outlets and YouTube videos on the topic hit tens of millions of views within hours of release.
This story speaks much more to the state of the modern press than it does to any underground structures.

The pyramids are actually balanced on the backs of four elephants. The giant turtle underneath is the source of the 12.5 KHz.

I worked in the geophysics industry for 7 years, and conducting a real seismic survey for this area wouldn't be difficult, but it would require some equipment, a trained crew, a few months and the hardest part, permits issued by Egypt to explore one of their most treasured and protected heritage sites. With modern techniques, a detailed, high-resolution 3D map is completely possible...

Great channel Sabine. As a geophysicist with 35 years experience and owner/operator of a lot of geophysical equipment, I can say with scientific certainty that satellite radar cannot see to the depths claimed. As a GENERAL concept in geophysics, the higher something is off the ground the the less distance it can "see" into the ground. Satellites, no chance. Another GENERAL concept is the higher the frequency the less distance the signal can penetrate into the ground. Radar no chance. For deep signals we use Magnetics, Magnetotellurics and seismic. Radar also severely attenuated by saline aquifers and clay.

Fun fact: I was a student in an organic chemistry lab taught by the (ex-)researcher from Pisa 25 years ago. While the glassy contraptions were doing their chemical magic, the instructor would humor the whole class with stories of alien abductions. I remember a detail that caught my attention back then. Apparently, abducted people were inserted little gold spheres in their bodies. The researcher claimed we knew the spheres were of alien origin because their isotopic composition was non terrestrial. Too bad that gold has only one stable isotope, the others being awfully radioactive with a half life from few days to few months. The level of pretension, delusion, and self importance exhibited in those completely useless stinky afternoons was one of the many reasons I drifted towards AMO physics.

LOL, the official press release having some kind of crazy stargate on it is the best thing ever 🤣

It would be pretty easy to go to known modern buildings, use the tech, and show that you've actually captured the foundations and fittings that the engineers designed and drew...

Maybe it was like the Monty Python castle. People thought his father was crazy building a castle in the swamp, built a castle it sank in the swamp, a second castle it sank in the swamp, third castle burned down then sank in the swamp, the last castle stood.

I am a geophysicist. I share your scepticism to the point I am not sure of the basic premise of the experiment. Those frequencies will not penetrate far through rock escpecially not where the blocks of the pyramid are seperated by joints. As an example when looking for shallow hazards (in the top 200m or so) we use frequncies up to 2kHz. Higher than that just get lost very quickly in the Earth. Also frequencies like that can be generated very easily by noises nearby - like a truck rolling past or a bus full of tourists arriving. Sound sources like these cannot help but produce too much noise for the experiment to work. Even wind might produce too much noise. Tomography also is very dependant on the initial model and the allowed parametrs. I am not sure that it is nonsense but I strongly think it might be
