I've been watching BHBs lately idk what episode it was but granny was telling a story about her family. The way she pronounced the word bear as barr made me realize how dedicated how great of an actress she was. Her accent was so perfect I would have thought it was my own grandmother telling that story.
"A great big ole barr", was the quote. I've never heard a better southern accent

She was great. One record had her singing about Granny's miniskirt. Supposedly she had a deal to do another series at the time of her death. Bobby Darin also recorded for Motown briefly. Even Pat Boone did, though for a subsidiary label. He was in an episode of The Beverly Hillbillies.
