In this lecture, we will cover Class 7 civics NCERT chapter 2. "State Government" - "Role of the Government in Health" (part 1)

In part 1 of chapter 2, we will study about the roles which governments perform. We will cover what health means and what other factors does it depend on. Then, we will have a look at the state of health in India and compare some positive and negative aspects. Further, we will understand what is public health and why is it important. Lastly, we will understand why the health industry in India faces a paradox.
