Inner Mongolia ranks number three in GDP per capita in China, rich in minerals and oil. Mongolia became independent from China in 1921, backed by Russia, and can’t come close to Inner Mongolia’s growth. China invested 50 years reversed desert back to green land improved agriculture, environment and tourism.
