I had an Albanian SKS in good condition for a while before I traded it for A Colt SP1 and a few slabs of ammo. Easily my favorite SKS in terms of looks, but it felt and shot sort of rough.

I have a stamped as well, although stock is a bit damaged.
I've only ever seen about 5-6 stamped SKS in Canada. Heck, I've seen more Rasheeds.

I had an Elbonian 59/66 SKS with the rare TAPCO stock and Scope mount and the assault sniper 40rd duckbill magazine and bipod option. It also featured the California grenade launcher delete option with the rare slot welded 7/8" tube spot welded over the muzzle. I dont miss that one.

** This is a joke because it was a bubba-sporterized Yugo 59/66 with tapco trash parts on it... Making it Elbonian... Lol 🤣

Beautiful collection.

The Russian sks def looks like it has not been rearsenaled but at a glance i’m unsure about unissued, how can you tell?

I’m 30 years Old, but when I first turned 18, I always wanted one of these rifles. Then quite literally not long after I turned 18 the safe act was passed in New York, making it essentially outlawed for a little while until the law was amended. Now I’m afraid it’s a tad bit out of my price range, but I’d love to own one someday. does anyone have any recommendations of what a good quality SKS is, but not one that would break the bank?
