Reflection Canyon - you have to see it for yourself

Backpacking overnight to one of remote Utah's most photographed locations - Reflection Caynon in Grand Staircase National Monument. My good friend Smitty and I hiked about 9 miles to look down into the canyon that feeds into Lake Powell. We camp out under the stars and wake up to the canyon glowing brightly and boats flying by. Worth the effort for sure; just make sure you have plenty of water with you. Unfortunately, we were in the sun the entire hike, and there is no reliable water source. So you know, as the motto goes, be prepared!

Very nice video. I have just started posting YT videos of my camping trips. This video of yours seems like it's in an area even more remote than the areas I go.

I have "liked" and "subscribed" to this video, as I support only those YT videos that do not yet have billions and billions of views.

I'll be going out there at the end of the month. Where did you get the overnight permit?
