Reflection Canyon, Utah

Показать описание
Scenery: ★★★★★
Difficulty: ★★★
We stayed two nights at Ruby's Inn in Bryce Canyon before and after the backpacking trip.
Day 1
8:00 AM: Left Ruby's Inn in Bryce Canyon
9:00 AM: Got a permit at the Escalante visitor center
11:30 AM: Started hiking
4:00 PM: Arrived at the Reflection Canyon
Day 2
9:30 AM: Left the Reflection Canyon
1:30 PM: Arrived at the car
On the day 2, we day hiked another awesome place, Zebra Canyon.
Getting a permit was quick and easy. No reservation required. The ranger at the visitor center gave us some good advice on how to navigate the area, how much water we need to carry, where to cache some water to reduce the weight, etc.
The biggest challenge of this trip was carrying 6 liters of water as water's heavy.
We ended up using only about 4 liters as the temperature was pretty cool. But on a hot day, 6 liters might not be enough. We shared some of our water with other backpackers who ran out of water and enjoyed the luxury of spending plenty of water washing face and brushing teeth.
There were plenty of good camping spots. We peacefully shared the place with a few other backpackers without bothering each other.
