This is one of the few time travel movies that actually kinda works with what you change In the past because the main paradox is that if you go back and change something you no longer will have that reason to change that something when you go back which makes a paradox but in this movie Lewis didn’t really change much apart from goobs future which doesn’t affect his future so all he really gains is information such as not inventing dorris

I can't be the only one who thinks that the way Doris is destroyed is super dark? Like imagine your younger parents coming back in time to see you as a kid, and for whatever reason you've caused untold destruction and pain in the future even though you haven't in the present and they just look you square in the eye and tell you they're never going to conceive you. And boom, just like that, you fade out of existence, never to even live in the first place.

I get the chills in that scene in particular...

Future Goob just leaving Lewis, his what-to-do list and what is left is just a question mark....after that, he just walks away...

maybe towards his home/orphanage (but that causes bad/tragic memories)...or maybe goes and find a job (with his skillset)...

tbh that's SCARY to think that Future Goob is going on an uncertain path that will prove to be difficult...

what's MORE SCARY is that what is he going to do??? i mean what can he offer to the world of this future (his baller hat gave him a plan of revenge only to be betrayed at the end, he NEVER had a plan other than this) ...I honestly don't know...

BUT what I'll do say is that Future Goob is doing is to...Keep Moving Forward...(regardless of a tremendous setback)
