POV Install: THE BEST Honda Civic (FK8) Type R Short Shifter!! ACUiTY 1892 Adjustable Short Shifter

In this video I install an ACUiTY 1892 Short Shifter into Eddy's 2017 Honda Civic Type R (Instagram: @ezeagul1_r). Join me as I take you through the steps from full center console removal to the install of this awesome adjustable short shifter. In addition to an install, I also reveal how to partially reassemble the center console so it exposes the shifter while retaining the functions of the button controls (on the shifter surround) and keyless entry system. Just installed my new short shifter in my 2020 fk7, thank you so much for making such a detailed tutorial man. Took me a little under 2 and a half hours and then went for a test drive. As others have said, the best most detailed video for replacing the shifter. It would have taken me much longer if it wasn’t for the great tips on the cables and the wire clips. Still took me like 4 hours total. It was worth it though for the CTR shifter.

This is so soooo much easier following your tutorial. Do you think If I put sound deadening where the paint is showing it will make a difference ? Or because it’s so little it won’t really matter?
