There is such a thing as Cosine inaccuracies for the radar gun. Whereby the return signal from the speeding car must be multiplied by the Cosine of the angle between the cop and the car. If the officer was at right angles to the car, for example, the gun would return a speed of zero.
Bad news is Cosine inaccuracies usually work in the driver's favour and you were probably travelling slightly faster than the gun's reading.

Yeah myth #5 is so true. I went to court and didn't see the officer so I thought man, I got to come back. Well what happen was that this took, went in early, told the clerk that he really didn't remember writing out the ticket. I was happy that I didn't have to go back

You started out saying with the prevalence of social media today, it is surprising how many still believe the old myths. In a way, I think social media has made some new myths worse. I would have thought that widespread use of body cams would have shut a lot of cop haters up, but the reverse seems to be true. It seems like Donut Operator is constantly debunking creeps that post portions of body cam videos and lie about what happened.

I'd like to say to Officer 401, how much I appreciate his approach to people when making these videos. There are a couple of other Youtubers who are current or former LEO's who do the same thing, but their approach is often antagonistic or insulting to those they don't agree with. Officer 401 simply states his arguments and facts without being derogatory towards those who may disagree. And I feel that this a far more appealing method that will reach more people and change more minds.
