Struggled to get a meaningful improvement in my NAD M33 system for over a year - gave up as the desktop app always somehow sucked life out of things, lost imaging and didn't fully deal with some bass nodes.
This new phone app version did it all easily, I am very pleasantly surprised. Tight bass, no woolliness. Imaging remains intact and some sibilance in the HF have been tamed without losing sparkle and life - thumbs up Dirac👍😎

Mijn M 33 komt 30 juli binnen, dus ben mij alvast aan het orienteren. Volgens mij is dit een zeer duidelijke video hoe te handelen.

It sounds like this brought Dirac Live a lot closer to Lyngdorf Roomperfect in ease of use and results. Excellent!

I'm a rookie at this but based on the Dirac Reviews being 1.7 out of 5 stars, I'll assume it isn't all me. I have a T778, which I very much regret. I've had nonstop errors all night. I perform the desktop version and I see no way of adjusting any curves. Based on the receiver being $3499, they have nerve to give me a very limited version of Dirac. The $999 Onkyo RZ50 gives you a full version. I've had nonstop errors all night long. I just want it to measure the room, adjust everything automatically, and set the settings on my receiver. Takes 30 seconds to do on a Yamaha. The desktop version gave me nightmares and I was only able to make it better by unplugging the ethernet cable and going WiFi which still gave me errors but let me continue. The microphone does it's thing, I save the file, and I go into setup and load that file, which does absolutely nothing. SO again I tried this dumbed down tablet version. I followed his steps except I had errors along the way. Might have something to do with that embarrassing dongle on a $3499 receiver. This video above makes it sound easy and at the end he said to apply it in BluOS in the audio settings. I go into BluOS, click settings, click audio, and there's nothing in there except to adjust gain. BluOS is a joke. 90% of the music services don't work. Kinda like the remote. It has a hundred buttons and 90 of them don't do a thing. How in the hell do I get a measurement and apply it to the receiver? I very much miss my flagship Yamaha and I regret selling it. YPAO was simple and it always worked great. This Dirac NAD mess is an absolute disaster and NAD has a lot of nerve to limit me to only adjust 500hz and below on a $3500 receiver. If I could return the receiver I would, and I'm on the edge of selling it for a loss. Any suggestions?

Have Dirac changed me their default target curve? Looks like they give more bass and slight roll off of the top end.

Hey team, loving the new desktop updates. How does Dirac come up with the positions of the sliders? Do they just follow the speakers natural response in the room? If we’re using the sliders for a home theatre application does that mean the difference speaker groups will end up with different target curves? Because I thought that all speaker groups should have the same target curve?

I already have filters set up in my T758 and I’d like to edit the curves while listening via my phone. But I can only do a measurement, I can’t access existing filters. Why is this not possible? Surely the main use for a mobile app is for existing users to play with Dirac?

Why is the option to select 'tightly focused imaging' as in the desktop app not available in the iPhone app? Also it’s’ Dee-rac not Dy-rac!

What a waste of time. No info on where and how the mic should be facing, what the volume should be and what effect that will have later, nor how to integrate a sub properly..

Youu guys ought to get your documentation and You Tube videos up to date. This video doesn't tell you you have to first create an account with Dirac. It doesn't tell you how to position the microphone for each measurement, looking at the manual for the M10, it is barely more helpful than the quick start guide. So many questions unanswered. e.g. Subwoofer crossover. Which one takes precedence? The one on the Sub? the one on the App? Cmon guys. Audiophiles like specifics as well as intuitiveness. Get the Sonos out of your a--!
