I remember that game, Bird was a monster on the boards. I remember because I was a Laker fan. We tried everything. Double teams, triple teams. People might not remember that Cooper was the best defender in the league but Larry Legend was unstoppable. I heard Coach Riley told Coop I know we're not gonna stop him just try to push him off his spot. Coop said his spot is the whole damn court!

I'm a fan of Larry Bird, but not just him, his friend Kevin McHale and Johnson, Robert parish, Luke long, they all shared with Bird the strength to win.
