My neice complained that her son wouldn't eat solid foods. He came to my house, and we had thin steaks fried in butter and some scrambled eggs. He tore that up! He also loved the relyte we were drinking. He doesn't dislike food. His body just wasn't putting up with no BS.

Memo to everyone -- check the ingredients of baby formula. It's corn syrup and seed oils, especially the cheaper forumlas. No wonder that even toddlers are getting so big so young.

I’m carnivore. Was nursed as an infant then chomped on moose. I am Alaskan Athabaskan 💪🏽

My son is still nursing at 20 months, but after 14 months we introduced raw goat milk, meat, cheese, eggs, veg and rarely a select fruit. He loves it, and has never had juice!

In my country the first food recommended by doctors to be introduced into a baby's diet is beef

Growing children need to be given more meat, plain dairy and fruit instead of grains, veggies and junk food.

Thank you for starting to talk about babies! I have a 3 yr old and she has been Carnivore since I stopped nursing. Well even longer because I nursed her up until about 2.5 years. She is epitome of health and intellect!! Keep spreading the word!

When I was a toddler, I guess I was a very picky eater. My parents asked the doctor what they should do, and evidently, he asked, “What will she eat?” My dad said “Steak.” Doc said, “Give her all the steak she wants.” ❤ 🥩

I started my youngest on steak at 9 months old. She loved it. She did continue to breastfeed until almost 2, but she ate almost only meat with that.

My cousin and I had pediatricians who recommended giving our babies meat as their first food! All of them ate everything put before them!

My 3 daughters first real food was ground beef, raw cream, and scrambled eggs put in a blender. Happy to say I have 3 SUPER healthy carnivorous daughters at home that are truly thriving

I am myself fairly new to carnivore (occassionally fall off the wagon) but im proud to be down to around 1 to 2 meals a day consisting almost entirely meat. Would you be able to elaborate a bit more on weaning babies on carnivore, expecting one soon.

Any person who doesn't give eggs to his child after the breastfeeding period as his or her first solid food should be jailed for child abuse.
Eggs are, after whey, the most complete source of protein we could wish for. An egg contains all the amino acids we need on a daily basis. Another name for egg white is protein which means "first/most important. And that is exactly what protein is to our bodies: the most important. It is our building block. Compare it to the bricks of a house. Without bricks there is no house. Proteins are the building material for cell membranes, organs and are used for many body processes: building and maintaining our muscles and connective tissue, our immune system, our hormone system, as a means of transport, to make enzymes, etc.
Among other things, an egg contains substantial amounts of vitamins A, B12, folic acid and D. But also iron, zinc and selenium. The egg yolk, from a chicken that walks outdoors (especially in spring), can contain 3 to 6 times as much vitamin D as the egg from an 'indoor chicken'. Important to know because many people, due to too little outdoors and too few hours of sun have a vitamin D deficiency. Often without knowing it themselves, by the way.
Eggs from free-range grazing chickens contain significantly more of the healthy Omega-3 fatty acids, including DHA (3)(3a), as well as vitamin E and CLA. Omega-3 fatty acids are greatly underrepresented in our diets, but are very important for our overall health. Extra vitamin E in the egg from these chickens is again important to protect the Omega 3 fatty acids from oxidation.
Scrambled eggs can easily be eaten by babies because it is easy to chew and they cannot choke on it as easily.
