The F4U-4 is an excellent energy fighter, and it’s wicked fast. I was surprised how well it could deal with a variety of enemies. Dogfighting Yak-3’s in this thing is a blast… even at low alt it’s possible!

I'm clearly not 'the right hands' I can't make this variant work for me. I'm either compressing so hard I can't dodge or getting hunted by whole teams after they stomp all the P-51Ds.

So is the F4U-4 actually better than the other corsairs? I know the statcard it is, but I saw somewhere that they are all the same until the F4U-4B

how come this thing is 4.3 while the D-30 is 5.0, would it just be better to play this?
