All the supplies in the world will not keep you right in the head. As a person that lived homeless as a kid(by myself) for years, your mindset is paramount. As things get bad enough most people’s morals will be out the window. A high percentage of society have no idea how dangerous a desperate person with nothing to lose will be. You need to have control your emotions to the highest level.

Heard on another channel about packing a folding bicycle in your vehicle. Thought that was a GREAT idea. Applies to an EMP scenario equally well.

Good job fellas. Great advice as always. I just want to add a few tips if SHTF and your an American citizen overseas:

1- Have a “to go bag” include your passports, 4k cash euro or US, change of clothes, cheap pair of sunglasses, and covid masks (for defeating facial recognition), open plane ticket to any NATO country.
2- Ditch your cellphone (even burner phone)
3- Know how to get to the US Embassy (have a map with different routes) arrange exfill or arrange passage to airport
4- If the embassy has fallen, know how to get to the border (NATO country, if possible)
5- Procure a weapon [Redacted] black market. 9mm.
6- Don’t speak English. If you don’t speak the local language speak Spanish or any other language will work.
7- Avoid confrontations. If you must fight, surprise, speed and violence of action is your friend. End threat quickly. Change clothes as soon as you’re at a safe distance.
8- Continue on your journey and trust no one until you are successfully out of danger. Ditch weapon and dirty clothes if no longer needed.

I live in New Zealand and we just had a powerful cyclone come through. Lots of damage to roads and bridges. Homes, farms, orchards, livestock and human life lost. We were without the electrical grid for 7 days, no sewer for 6 days, the cell phones and internet were out for 2 days and then patchy for another 3 days. Trucks couldn't get through with fuel and food. It was a real learning curve for a lot of people. We were prepped, but still realize that there are gaps in our preps that we need to attend to.

Perfect example of a barter system during a local SHTF. In high school I worked at a deli after school, we were hit by a massive hurricane, that what is a lot of places that don’t usually flood and knock the power out for days on end. The owners of the deli would barter food for generators, and or gasoline. We only took cash, no checks or CC.

I honestly cant stress this enough; I disagree with saving any cell phones. The problem is/ as soon as you power it on they will be able to find your location. It’s not worth it. Either keep notes, books, etc for your instructions and memorize them. As always thanks for all you do. Greatly appreciate it.

Just found your content about 3 weeks ago and subscribed up to #30 on Prepper school great stuff thank you both. Something I do is about six months ago I opened a new email account and linked it to my laptop at home and when I think of something to research I will email myself or information of what I found and when I get home I will print it out and file it for later might be a good idea for emp

"... a galvanized garbage can don't work because it's not magnetic." Nothing could be further from the truth. The core of the can is steel. Galvanize is zinc and electrically conductive.

Personally, I think all the prepper channels are way too electronic dependant. If we have a severe EMP or nuclear problem it will be years before the electricity is available... Long after fuel and batteries are dead. I'm setting up to live without electricity at all.

I seen these fairly small septic tanks at Home Depot yesterday and ever since been thinking how I could use it.

I know in 2004, we had 4 hurricanes hit us back to back. Which created hurricane exhaustion. We were tired of packing up to relocate only to get back home. An EMP, would devastate us tremendously. Lord. God Bless.

With a Microwave you dont have to cut the cord you can break the two prongs that plug into the AC and leave just the center ground and plug that into the AC. Your AC will be grounded. Also put a sheet of Aluminum on the inside over the window. Try testing with a cell phone see if it receives a call when placed inside. If you want to be more sure about you sensitive electronics., and that is RF anti EMP cloth rap your electronics and place inside a Microwave.

Most galvanized steel is magnetic. The zinc coating over the steel is usually thin enough for the steel to be magnetic....but your ymmv
