I use the Alfred Workflows to create "Working Environments". For example, when I'm ready to write something, I type in the keyword and Alfred launches Scrivener with a specific .scriv file. It then launches WordWeb, MWeb (for markdown), TaskPaper, and the Wordpress app. When I'm done, it closes everything down. Similarly, on the rare occasion when I need to share my screen during a Zoom call, I use Workflows close down apps like Mail, Slack and others that might "ding" or throw up a notification on the screen. Both of those are easier to do in Keyboard Maestro since it's drag and drop, and you pick the Apps, but I bought Alfred first, so I just stick with that.

You almost sold me: I’ll have a look at Alfred.
Thank you for the insightful video.
And, since I’m in the writer mood for some projects of mine, and full Apple, you have a new sub ;-)

As a friendly mic geek tip, your Yeti microphone is a side address one.
It should stand upright, not point towards you, for optimal sound capture.
Thanks for that valuable video.
