What A Fantastic Restoration Video Of That Older Win XP Or 7 E-Machines Computer, Which Had Been Through Some Kind Of Flood And Inundation With Mud, Water, Muck, And Mice Droppings . . . But Unless I Missed It In This Video, I Didn't See The Seagate 160GB HDD, And / Or The DVD Player Being Disassembled, Thoroughly Cleaned Out And Up, And Made Safe To Run Inside The Case ???

I Will Watch The Video Again, But I Didn't See Those Components Being Thoroughly Cleaned Out, And Up, And Made Safe To Run Again, Before Being Put Back Into The Amazingly Cleaned Out, And Painted E-Machines Case . . . '-o

The Incredible Thorough Cleaning, And Washing Up Of That Motherboard, And The CPU Heat Sink Restoration Was Astounding . . . :-)

Holy Moly! I've never seen anyone clean electronics with soap and water -- I didn't think it could be done! Well, I learned something new today! Great job on your renovation!

Slight tip: the thermal compound on the chipset heatsink can usually be softened and cleaned with Zippo lighter fluid. I've only recently found this out and it's been my method of preserving chipset/northbridge heatsinks in good condition that way.

YES, you can wash circuitry with water and soap as long as you dry it properly

Видео в принципе не фейк но ты там забыл поменять один "незаметный конденсатор" на материнской плате и блок питания лучше проверить хотя-бы перемычкой чтобы хотябы запустился и не загорелся, а на счёт чистки платы водой можно мыть но только батарейку биоса отключите и высушите плату чтобы и под чипсетом воды неоставалось (можно выдуть её балончиком с воздухом и протереть окуратно) ну и сокет лучше чистить специальным растворителем, потому что кисточкой можно случайно повредить ножки сокета, поэтому чистка сокета это отдельная тема, а ещё лучше спиртом все это промывать чтобы точно проблем невозникло, ну а в остальном всё хорошо респект

Breaking the topic a bit, going through all my old drives, I found one with DOS 6.22/Win 3.11. Is there anything left that can run slow enough to work it properly? If I remember right it was a 486/dx4 88 processor with 2x cd rom drive and a 3.5 floppy. My first computer for college back in 1995.
