As an SPU student who has been involved with the efforts to change this policy, today was heartbreaking.

Separation of church and school. Separation of church and state.

Leviticus 20:13: “13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.”

I was a student at the school years ago. I knew from the beginning what the school stood for, their policies and their beliefs. I respected those policies and beliefs before I even set foot on the campus. These idiots should not be surprised. Disgusting behavior for them to expect a religious-based school that has certain beliefs to abandon them because they are stomping their foot. If you don't like the Christian based ethics the school stands for you should have went to Seattle U. Leave the school and go to San Francisco. Pathetic...

Interesting timing. Maybe taking advantage of the Monkeypox situation that's been in the news. Also, enforcing this now could be an excuse to terminate employees they've been wanting to for a while. Often those who make one's sexuality an issue are overcompensating. Time will tell if that proves true here too.

No, they're right because the bullying attacks that I've endured from the activism of this community for not participating...it's been brutal.
Integrity is important and the underbelly of this body politic is FULL of sadism and ruthlessness.
Idk why. I've just been under their attack and it certainly is NOT decent.
They have a problem with boundaries and the word "No."

Good for the school. A Private Religious school, They can CHOOSE who they want teaching in their school. Don't like tbe policy, go elsewhere.
