Why Seattle Pacific University Switched to Canvas | Canvas LMS

Rolin Moe, Director of Academic Innovation at Seattle Pacific University, saw his previous LMS regressing in both use and user satisfaction. It was “cumbersome for faculty, not intuitive for staff, and didn’t improve learning for students.” The university wanted an LMS that would really improve things, facilitate learning and connections, and provide an intuitive, easy-to-use experience for everyone. So they chose Canvas.

The LMS market is crowded. Why not open new frontiers in countries that don't speak English as their first language? The majority of Moodle users speak Spanish for example. Why not have a plan for localization for Canvas? Just some thoughts.
