Faculty, students sue SPU over LGBTQ hiring ban

Since when did Universities become places to flaunt one’s private life choices.
While the number of STEM graduates continues to decline in the US, our social justice warriors are undermining the futures of the young who are brainwashed into transgender or feminist ideology- racking up loans while learning nothing that leads to a job or vocation.

Most people don’t have a problem with what people do behind closed doors, we don’t need our children and grandchildren to know what their teachers do whether they are heterosexual or gay, lesbian, transgender. Keep it private because nobody cares.

Just don't go to that bar, there are plenty of other ones. Besides, what respectable company would hire someone from a private Christian collage in the first place? It's just asking for trouble.

As a non-binary teacher, on strike. As well as a proud parent of a Sudan adopted transgender child, post op, this is offensive. It’s a direct attack and possible genocide on very vulnerable citizens. Every single child in that school district should be taught about sexuality, starting in kindergarten. How else will they be taught how to manage in a world fighting capitalism and things like free speech? We need to dial it up folks. Activism should be worked into the education system. This is part of why WA teachers are going on strike. Do you know how uncomfortable it is for us adults to have to explain to these kids how many genders there are? We are underfunded for the middle school after school gender identity club. We can’t even tell the parents about it because they are obviously narrow minded. How dare they think an educator doesn’t know better than they do. It’s literally our jobs.

It’s so sad I have to buy my own saul alinksy books to keep the kids updated on current events. You as parents, need to pay more. We can’t educate your kids without it! Making an average of 59-72k just isn’t Orange man bad ruined everything and now parents can’t even pay for food. But I’m asking you now. As tax payers. I don’t get payed enough to educate your kids. That’s what the union is for.
