The crystal daggers work on any stone-looking enemy. They don’t make them friendly but they attack anyone and anything around them

Any golems can be turned with crystal knives as it is part of the lore. The golems, imps etc were crated by the same person who used cracked crystals to carve them and the crystals ‘overload’ their ‘settings’ if you will. Would love to see a lore video out together about them 💪

You can do it to the gaurd dogs aswell with crystal darts

I actually did this on my first playthrough, on the way to godrick boss fight there's a giant bridge, when I go there. There were three giant golems in the way, the Archer golem and the melee golem, and I was under level. So I tried to bait the arrow one to hit the melee, and it instantly stagger it, and because of that I discovered a cheese if you're ever have trouble fighting multiple giant golems.




Edit: Oh the thing that the person just found out is the Crystal dart can actually make the Giant golems to attack each other. I thought the second Giant golem accidentally attack the first Giant golem, and that's why they fight each other.

I found out fairly early on that the big archers can hit the bug guys with axes shown in the vid. Not only that but did so much damage that it brought them down to be finished off when you hit the glowing spot on their chest. Never knew it worked on just the axe wielders.

Works on anything that's been manufactured AFAICT, so we know it works on Golems and Imps/Watchdogs, but in theory it should also work with maybe Crystalians, Marionettes, Abductor Virgins? What else?

I did this when I 1st encountered the giants up the cliffs. Maybe it is an old Monster Hunter habit to get multiple large monsters to hit each other. Always a good time when it works.

20 hours in the game before finding out that I had to sit to a grace in order to make Melina spawn in order to unlock the level up and Torrent.

It took me one “10 things you didn’t know about Elden Ring” video to realize I could do this. It works on anything that’s stone, so imps and probably gargoyles too.

The first time I went across the bridge to the divine tower of limgrave I was about to get fucked up by the two golems, but then one hit the other and killed it and then the third one with a bow missed me and killed the other one. It was hilarious

thats how i deal with them on the bridge to one of the divine towers, I let the archer shoot one of them and it always stuns them then I just repost, rinse and repeat. super good because that area has like three of them there
