Almost everyone is ratting on Google for this, but all of the things it learns from this are available to the government on employee files and such. You're currently on a phone, and with that FBI agent speculation, your phone should be more a problem. You aren't submitting to a hive mind by buying these. In fact we should be more focused on laying down laws for facial recognition, but instead we're scared of people finding out things they may already know. Not to mention, a comment I saw (about a thief breaking breaking in and waiting long enough for you to get home), chances are they will leave immediately when catching the fact that your on your way home, and both burglars and murderers would not have time to wait patiently for you to arrive. It would be more a chance to leave evidence, and others would probably become suspicious when they see the usual hubbub is disrupted.
