Don't forget that other retailers sell digital codes cheaper than what's priced on the Switch eShop. You'll still get full gold points too.

I’m on the digital side of my backlog on my switch (that’s not including my hundreds of games on my steam account) and because of that, I get arguably more gold points/coins than I would with physical, almost 7 or 8 times more to be exact. idk why nintendo decided to split the gold distribution like this, but I digress

I NEVER forget about my gold points. Sonic mania was on sale for 13$ so I remembered that I had 1346 gold coins. So I got it for free.

After getting everything I wanted on the WiiU and 3ds Eshop today I bought MK8D that's on sale now with the bonus courses. It was on-sale now for like $60. I was able to get it down to $35ish

About the gold points: you can only get them from a PHYSICAL game in its first year of being out. Just thought I should give some clarification.

Or you can just change your region and get most games cheaper (argentina is VERY cheap) i think somebody got celeste, stardew valley and hollow knight for like $8 altogether (not sure tho)

You can also change your zip code to one that is in a state with no sales tax, but it’s also tax evasion and illegal. Something I would *never* do 😏
