Prioritization Matrix: Essential Management and Planning tool

The next important Management and Planning tool, which I will explain in this video is the “Prioritization Matrix”. This is also called “Matrix Data Analysis”.

The Prioritization Matrix is a tool that sorts and ranks various options into an order of importance using weighted criteria. This technique helps us to identify which activities, problems or projects are the most important to work on solving first.

I have explained this tool with its meaning and when to use this tool, with practical examples that will be very easy to understand.

Great explanation!! 1. Keeping the same structure, 2. We say select values in each cell 1 to 10 for scoring, 3. On top columns we define the criteria and give a weighted score, 4. Then multiply the cell ranking with top weighted score for each criteria? A small change in your approach, is that fine? Please comment. Thank you!

Thanks for this! Great explanation. I am following your structure but have a question about the association score. Can I use a different association score, say 0-4 instead of 0, 1, 3, 9? A small change from what you did, is that fine? Must it be 0, 1, 3, 9? If yes, why? Hope to hear from you. Thanks!
